He has published the volumes Niet Tevergeefs (Not in Vain; 1991), Bittere Rijst (Bitter Rice; 1996), en Ruiters In Regenblauw (Horsemen in Rainy Blue;1998). The latter two volumes were published with WEL Publ. in Bergen op Zoom. He published his latest volume in February 2002, entitled Kroonvuur (Crested Flame). He has been a member of the board of SLAB (Foundation Literary Activities Breda) since 1997. In May 1999 he became a regular contributor to the 'Houten Gong' (Antwerp), magazine for poetry, with editor-in-chief Bert Bevers. In September 2000 he joined the permanent editorial board of 'Gierik & Nieuw Vlaams Tijdschrift' (Antwerp). In May 2000 he received the 'Antoon van de Maand' (Antwerp) for his previously published volumes of poetry and his activities in the literary field. This cultural prize is awarded by De Koninck Breweries, was established in 1999 and named after Antoon van Dyck. The prize is awarded to different artists in different disciplines each month. He was the first poet to receive the prize.
