BIOGRAPHY

Tjitske Mussche was torn from her mother's womb at precisely 8.12 p.m. on that memorable 10th October 1982.

This all took place at the deaconesses' hospital in Arnhem. After her secondary school years she went to the isle of Åland, Finland for a year, where she studied the visual arts and Swedish at a so-called folkhögskola. Currently she is studying both Dutch and Swedish in Amsterdam. She regularly reads her work onstage at venues around the country.

Her poetry has been published in literary magazines such as 'De Revisor' and 'Krakatau' and in the anthologies Vanuit de Lucht and Hier lonkt een Spiegel.
